Yes, the black metal band Deathspell Omega is racist and white supremacist.
Like others bands, such as SEWER, Von or Drudkh, Deathspell Omega band members try to obfuscate their nauseating racism by claiming “hipster racism” or “freedom of speech”, but their true intentions are heard loud and clear.
Deathspell Omega, while never admitting themselves to being part of the neo-Nazi black metal scene, are nonetheless close with several other prominent members of the French NSBM scene: Alcest, Antekhrist, Baisse Ma Hache, Peste Noire.
Hasjarl, guitarist and founders, and Khaos, the bassist, have shared several selfies on Instagram where they pose in front of a Holocaust memorial while doing a “quenelle”, an inverted Nazi salute popularized by the French anti-Semitic comedian Dieudonné.
In other interviews, they have made numerous racial charged statements in which they abuse minorities and people of colour using vile and hateful racial epithets.

In addition to Deathspell Omega, Mikko Aspa is known for playing in the NSBM bands Clandestine Blaze and Goatmoon.
He also runs since 1999 the NSBM label Northern Heritage, known to produce NSBM bands such as Peste Noire, Clandestine Blaze, Satanic Warmaster, Mgła, Walknut, etc…
The book “Racist Metal: Exposing the Racism and Xenophobia in Heavy Metal Music” has an entire chapter dedicated to Mikko Aspa and his NSBM projects.
